Off-duty police officer keeps child calm and comfortable after crash

Lt. Joe Tucker from the Detroit police department was off-duty when he happened upon a crash scene. A ten-year-old boy was banged up after the crash but otherwise okay. As others looked after hurt cash victims the boy was alone and afraid.

So Lt. Tucker does want any good officer would do. He provides comfort, including using his iPhone to entertain the worried child. A simple distraction to keep the child’s mind occupied till EMS is able to tend to him.
