East Brandywine Deputy Fire Chief Joseph Edwards was starting his workout when a man on the treadmill in front of him collapsed. Without a second thought the Chief jumped into action starting CPR, setting up the AED and having gym staff call 911.
We have said it here before, folks who work in public safety are never truly off-duty. Great job Chief Edwards!
