Deputy gets marriage proposal after boyfriend is “arrested”

A Washington County, NE, deputy got two surprises in the same few minutes. First, her boyfriend was arrested and transported to the jail she works in. Then he proposed marriage to her.

The event was captured on a body camera. Fast forward to the 3:45 mark to see the arrival at the jail.

Washington County Sheriff would like it noted, “No inmates or Correction’s officer were injured during this incident.”
