Security staff can often be the butt of jokes. From being called rent-a-cops to references to Paul Blart Mall Cop guards get less respect than sworn police officers.
Recently a company introduced robot security guards. The 300-pound droids are mobile security camera systems able to patrol areas. Unlike human patrol units, they don’t get bored.
Apparently, one working the Georgetown Waterfront shopping center got fed up with being a mall cop. It drove into a pool.
A few images of the security bot have popped up on Twitter.
